Nestled between the pages of myths and the soft hum of folk tales, Rashah Solun weaves her days with wonder and quiet purpose. A devoted mother and soon-to-be debut author, she dances gracefully between the demands of motherhood and the whispers of stories waiting to be told. A proud graduate of Spelman College, where she earned a B.A. in Comparative Women’s Studies, she has always been drawn to the intersections of the seen and unseen, the sacred and the forgotten.
Guided by a love for folklore, mysticism, dance, and the healing art of folk herbalism, Rashah finds joy in tending to life's liminal spaces. Her days are rooted in the earthy rhythms of family life, while her dreams stretch toward a future in Interfaith End-of-life and Eco Chaplaincy—her next adventure as she embarks on graduate school.
When not chasing after her lively toddler, she savors stolen moments of stillness: reading whatever book calls her name, scribbling poetry that flows from her soul, or simply sitting in contemplative communion with the world around her. For her, life is a dance between shadow and light, where every moment is a story waiting to bloom.
